Game Addiction Scale (GAS-7)

Scientific background →

The Game Addiction Scale (GAS-7) uses seven core criteria -- including preoccupation, tolerance, withdrawal, and neglect of other activities -- to assess whether your gaming behavior (online or console) has shown signs of a problematic pattern over the last six months.

This test is a self-exploration tool, not a diagnosis of gaming disorder as defined by the ICD-11. It does not replace a professional evaluation by an addiction counseling service, licensed therapist, or doctor. If you're concerned about a child's or teenager's gaming, it's also worth talking with the child directly and, if relevant, with their school.
